Memora doesn’t find my screenshots

  1. Memora needs access to your photos. On iPhone, open Settings → Apps → Memora → Photos and choose Full Access. With Limited Access, Memora only sees the photos you picked.
  2. Back in Memora, open Settings → Organizing → Scan again.
  3. Memora looks at screenshots by default. To include photos of books, menus and receipts too, turn on Settings → Organizing → Include all photos.

Memora isn’t in the Share sheet

  1. Open Memora once after installing it.
  2. In any app, tap Share, scroll the row of app icons to the end and tap More.
  3. Tap Edit and add Memora to your favorites so it shows up first next time.

Links are read and filed in a few seconds. Pictures you share are added to your photo library and sorted with your screenshots.

A card landed on the wrong shelf

Open the card and tap its shelf label (like “Books”) at the top to move it. Screenshots Memora isn’t sure about wait in your Inbox, where one tap files each one.

To choose how boldly Memora files on its own, open Settings → Organizing → Auto-file: Bold files nearly everything, Balanced asks about the unsure ones, and Ask me only files very sure matches.

Details are missing or look wrong

Titles, covers, summaries and other details come from online look-ups. Check that Settings → Privacy → Look things up online is on and that you’re connected. Cards in a Vault are never looked up, on purpose.

Look-ups are automatic and sometimes wrong. If one keeps getting it wrong, tell us which kind of screenshot it was and we’ll try to improve it.

Signing in

  • Forgot your password? Tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen. We’ll email you a code that works for 15 minutes; check your spam folder if it doesn’t arrive.
  • Used Sign in with Apple and chose Hide My Email? Our emails go to your Apple relay address and reach your inbox from there.
  • You don’t need an account to use Memora. It’s only needed for Pro, so your plan can follow you to other devices.

Pro and billing

  • Upgrade: in Memora, open Settings and tap Upgrade on your plan. Payment happens on Stripe’s secure checkout page.
  • Change plan, update your card or cancel: Settings → Manage on your plan. After cancelling you keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
  • New phone? Sign in with the same account and your plan follows. If it doesn’t show up, open the plans screen and tap Restore purchases.
  • Charged by mistake? Email us within 30 days and we’ll sort it out.

Adding widgets

Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, search for Memora, and pick Inbox, Up next, Coming up, Daily quote, Rediscover or, with Pro, Aura. Vault cards never appear in widgets.

Notifications

Choose which reminders you get in Settings → Notifications in Memora: the daily nudge and its time, Inbox reminders, upcoming events and the Sunday recap. If Memora says notifications are blocked, allow them in your iPhone’s Settings → Notifications → Memora.

Your data

  • Remove everything Memora keeps on your phone: Settings → More → Delete all Memora data. Your photos are never touched.
